Lead Engineer – Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical leadership and direction to the members of the Distribution team.

• Assist the Design Engineering Manager with supervisory and management responsibilities for a select portion of the team.

• Identify and address issues as they arise.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to designated team members.

• Oversee team workloads and coordinate task assignments to optimize staff utilization.

• Evaluate completed designs and design products for compliance with client, industry, regulatory, quality, and consistency standards.

• Implement client, industry, and regulatory standards to current distribution system components.

• Engage in communication with internal, client, and regulatory stakeholders.

• Maintain production levels in a dynamic environment.

• Identify and advocate for training opportunities.

• Aid in recruitment efforts by conducting interviews and participating in college career fairs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Over 6 years of experience in distribution engineering.

• Familiarity with NESC and other relevant codes and standards.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Eagerness to learn and utilize client-provided programs and systems.

• Demonstrated success in achieving results in a production setting.

• Willingness to travel up to 20–25% of the time to client locations, at least once a month, for project or marketing meetings.
