This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and create global data center and warehouse fabric solutions utilizing spine-leaf switching, VXLAN/EVPN overlays, and multi-tenant segmentation.
• Act as the global escalation point for intricate fabric issues, spearheading resolutions and documenting fixes as a standard practice.
• Establish and uphold global fabric design standards, which encompass spine-leaf templates, VXLAN/EVPN policy, segmentation models, and guidance on platform selection.
• Assess and recommend platform strategies across Arista, Cisco ACI, and NSX-T.
• Evaluate fabric designs for data center constructions, warehouse implementations, and site refresh initiatives across all regions.
• Collaborate with the Routing, Switching & SD-WAN Solutions Engineer to ensure alignment between fabric and edge designs.
• Work in partnership with regional teams from EMEA, Americas, APJ, and India Solutions Hub.
• Define the telemetry, health checks, and alerting requirements for fabric in collaboration with the NOC.
• Direct technical engagement for fabric requirements pertaining to acquisitions, site build-outs, and warehouse expansions.
• Engage directly with the Global Director of Network Engineering and fellow solutions engineers.
• Establish global fabric standards and advance the function towards a principal or staff engineer role.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, with a strong emphasis on data center fabric design and architecture.
• Expert-level knowledge of VXLAN, EVPN, and BGP within data center underlay and overlay environments.
• Hands-on design and deployment experience with at least one enterprise fabric platform: Arista, Cisco ACI, NSX-T, or equivalent.
• Profound understanding of spine-leaf architecture, data center interconnect, and multi-tenant or micro-segmentation design.
• Experience in setting fabric standards across multi-site and multi-country environments.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Capability to document architectural decisions and present recommendations effectively.
• Ability to operate independently across various time zones.
• Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering or a related field is required.
• Skill in executing instructions and seeking clarification when necessary.
• Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and convey essential information.
• Competence in creating and delivering formal presentations.

• CCIE, JNCIE-DC, or Arista ACE Expert certification is preferred, whether active, prior, or in pursuit.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting using Python or Ansible is advantageous.
• Knowledge of NetBox, CloudVision, or similar tools is a plus.
• Experience in distribution, warehouse, or logistics environments is desirable.
