Lead DSO Dental Billing Success Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily revenue-cycle operations and set priorities for designated DSO and multi-site dental accounts.

• Track claims, postings, denials, rejections, A/R aging, EFTs, underpayments, and collections.

• Evaluate KPIs, pinpoint financial risks and trends, and collaborate with leadership on corrective measures.

• Perform quality audits to ensure billing, posting, reconciliation, and reporting are precise and up-to-date.

• Lead client discussions and provide insights on performance, priorities, and action strategies.

• Mentor and assist team members, acting as the primary point of escalation.

• Guarantee that weekly and month-end deliverables, reporting, reconciliation, and invoicing are executed accurately and punctually.

• Uphold HIPAA/PHI compliance and maintain precise documentation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Required dental billing experience.

• A minimum of 2 years in dental billing, encompassing claims, insurance billing, A/R, postings, denials, and revenue-cycle workflows.

• Strong skills in leadership, problem-solving, organization, and client communication.

• Capability to assess account performance and proactively recognize financial risks.

• Experience preferred in DSO or multi-site dental practices.

• Willingness to learn various Practice Management Software systems.

• Denti-Cal experience is advantageous.

• Full daytime availability is required.

• Must meet eAssist IT requirements.

• Residency in the United States is mandatory.

• Candidates must not reside in Arizona, California, Massachusetts, Washington, or Washington D.C.

• Familiarity with insurance payments, adjustments, and write-offs is essential.

• Experience with sending electronic claims that include attachments.

• Competence in handling insurance aging reports, specifically 30/60/90 days and beyond.

• Proficiency in dental office management software is necessary.

• Must be comfortable using a webcam for interviews and virtual meetings.

• Ability to respond to dental insurance billing and coordination-of-benefits inquiries.
