This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in the independent and autonomous development, review, release, and management of technical documentation for commissioning and service activities, ensuring precision, quality, and compliance with relevant standards and internal procedures.

• Own the documentation strategy and coordination for critical deliverables such as MFI (Maintenance Field Instruction), RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement), lifting plans, technical procedures & instructions, and digital checklists, ensuring they are ready for field execution within the assigned scope.

• Act as a primary liaison among Engineering, EHS, Field teams, Technical Support, Factory, and Project Leadership to collect inputs, foster alignment, and guarantee effective communication across assigned projects and documentation requirements.

• Provide technical documentation assistance to field operations, both remotely and on-site, to ensure documentation accurately reflects operational realities and facilitates safe and efficient execution.

• Adhere to the Commissioning and Services Strategy to promote optimal and timely work execution.

• Oversee assigned documentation tasks including planning, reviews, approvals, revisions, distribution, and traceability of both customer and internal documentation within the scope of responsibility.

• Monitor and act as the point of contact for project documentation, tracking business-critical issues and operational changes, while effectively communicating concerns, priorities, and risks to relevant stakeholders and escalating as necessary.

• Promote continuous improvement in documentation processes, digital tools, and data quality, including support for TrueContext / ProntoForms, forms, and issue resolution related to documentation workflows, focusing on process consistency and operational support.

• Assist in training field technicians by clarifying tasks, instructions, and documentation requirements either remotely or on-site.

• Ensure the implementation of EHS policies and requirements within the documentation scope, identify and communicate risks, advocate for safe work practices, and support improvements to prevent incidents and accidents.

• Encourage process standardization, operational consistency, and best practices across projects, regions, and operational teams.

• Willingness to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and public holiday on-call duties as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Mechanical, or equivalent technical experience.

• Substantial experience in technical documentation, commissioning, service, or engineering support, ideally within wind, offshore, power generation, or other industrial settings.

• Proficiency in developing and managing technical documentation such as procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, and field documentation.

• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Understanding of wind turbine systems and operations, including synchronous generators, yaw systems, cooling circuits, hydraulic systems, and variable frequency drives.

• Strong communication abilities with the capacity to prepare and present documentation status, priorities, risks, and progress updates to project and business stakeholders while managing multiple projects independently.

• Experience in supporting field operations and converting operational needs into practical documentation.

• Familiarity with 3D software such as NX, SolidWorks, and JT2GO is preferable.

• Knowledge of digital documentation and workflow tools such as TrueContext, ProntoForms, ServiceMax, Smartsheet, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Spanish, French, and Portuguese is advantageous.
