Lead DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-grade applications

• Enhance infrastructure configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies

• Spearhead DevOps initiatives across development, QA, and production settings

• Work in tandem with development and operations teams to optimize deployment processes

• Track system performance, availability, and security in both cloud and on-premises environments

• Administer container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm

• Ensure adherence to security and governance standards within automated processes

• Diagnose deployment and infrastructure challenges across various environments

• Guide junior engineers and advocate for DevOps best practices

• Promote ongoing enhancements in release management and system reliability

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience along with relevant formal academic/vocational qualifications

• Prior experience of approximately 8+ years in a similar role

• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

• Strong skills in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Proficient in AWS and associated services

• Experience with system monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana

• Understanding of networking, firewalls, and security protocols

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Capability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior personnel

• Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD methodologies

• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)

• Familiarity with serverless architecture

• Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001)

• Experience in cost optimization within cloud environments

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices

• India working hours: 05:30 PM to 02:30 AM IST

• Philippines working hours: 08:00 PM PHT to 05:00 AM PHT
