This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Spearhead the design and execution of enterprise-level DevOps solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Establish and promote DevOps best practices across various teams, enhancing pipelines for scalability and efficiency.
• Design and oversee automated infrastructure deployment within cloud environments.
• Facilitate the integration of security into CI/CD pipelines, guaranteeing adherence to industry standards.
• Refine test automation strategies to improve system reliability and boost deployment confidence.
• Create test data management solutions to provide high-quality data for automated testing processes.
• Impact tooling and technology selections for version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
• Offer mentorship and technical support to fellow DevOps Engineers.
• Relay DevOps strategy and updates to stakeholders and clients.
• Over 6 years of experience in DevOps, automation, or cloud engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership in implementing enterprise-level automation solutions.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, and TravisCI.
• Advanced skills in scripting and automation using Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, or C#.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and network access management in AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong command-line proficiency with Bash or PowerShell.
• Proven experience in creating, deploying, and orchestrating code changes with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and Elastic Container Service.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure platforms.
• Solid background in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Packer.
• Understanding of DORA metrics, DevOps Research and Assessment, and Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills, effectively engaging executive stakeholders and decision-makers.
