Automation Project Execution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership in the execution of automation projects affecting various locations within the North America Supply Chain.

• Collaborate with team members in automation, staff and mills, as well as vendors and suppliers.

• Take ownership of engineering implementation, layout, and the execution of material movement automation strategies.

• Lead the development and execution of capital projects related to Automation in North America.

• Ensure that all activities adhere to Corporate Safety, Regulatory, and Quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechatronics.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering capital projects.

• Willingness to work in a distribution or manufacturing setting that operates 24/7.

• Capability to travel over 50% of the time as required by business demands.

• Experience in designing and operating equipment for high-speed tissue manufacturing or personal care product manufacturing.

• Familiarity with logistics and manufacturing automation technologies such as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and six-axis robotics.
