This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the assessment, structuring, and coordination of approvals for intricate, high-value, and non-standard agreements.
• Offer mentorship, deal assessments, and daily guidance to IC1 and IC2 team members.
• Act as the main contact for enterprise and strategic accounts that require tailored pricing, contract arrangements, or commercial terms.
• Collaborate with the Director to develop and enhance deal desk processes, playbooks, and templates.
• Work alongside the Legal team on complex contract negotiations, redlines, and non-standard terms.
• Analyze deal economics, including margin effects, payment terms, multi-year discounts, and revenue recognition considerations.
• Maintain and enhance the deal approval matrix.
• Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, end-of-period deal management, and timelines for deal closures.
• Represent the Deal Desk in cross-departmental initiatives like product launches, pricing adjustments, and go-to-market strategies.
• Identify systemic issues related to deal quality or policy gaps and recommend solutions.
• 6+ years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, finance, or similar roles within a fast-growing SaaS company.
• Experience in FinTech is advantageous.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in deal structuring, pricing strategies, ELA’s, and contract processes.
• Expertise in Salesforce CPQ and related tools.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and capability to identify ASC 606 risks in deal structures.
• Capacity to engage credibly and provide constructive feedback to senior Sales stakeholders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the quote-to-cash lifecycle and its dependencies.
• Effective skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional influence.
• Ability to work independently in complex and ambiguous situations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities combined with sound business judgment.
• Experience in SaaS, FinTech, or other high-growth environments.
• Proven ability to mentor colleagues and lead by example in a team setting.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition and the financial implications of deal structures.
• Experience with automation or workflow optimization tools.
• Background in leading cross-functional initiatives or system implementations.
