Lead Data Scientist – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design, development, and enhancement of forecasting models to enhance prediction accuracy and improve business outcomes.

• Create and implement advanced Deep Learning models for extensive structured and unstructured datasets.

• Develop Generative AI / Explainable AI solutions to deliver transparent and interpretable insights from predictive models.

• Analyze healthcare datasets, including claims, patient, provider, operational, or clinical data.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to convert business challenges into scalable AI solutions.

• Oversee model performance, retrain models, and optimize algorithms for production environments.

• Mentor junior data scientists and offer technical leadership throughout the project.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare data privacy and governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning positions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Forecasting models (time series, demand forecasting, predictive analytics).

• Proficient in Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

• Demonstrated experience in building Generative AI / Explainability models utilizing LLMs, SHAP, LIME, or comparable frameworks.

• Required experience in the Healthcare domain.

• Strong programming abilities in Python, SQL, and ML libraries.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

• Exceptional stakeholder communication and leadership capabilities.
