This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Convert substantial volumes of intricate data into sophisticated analytical solutions through mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology.
• Create, uphold, and gather both structured and unstructured data sets for the purposes of analysis and reporting.
• Generate reports, forecasts, models, and presentations to bolster business strategy and tactics.
• Provide counsel to executives on critical, often segment-specific, functional strategies.
• Develop strategies for innovative analytical solutions that deliver actionable insights into policy compliance, adherence, operational consistency, and decision-making.
• Investigate, design, and implement a metric for policy adherence utilizing FRAC and PA denials information alongside advanced data modeling techniques.
• Construct valuation models to quantify savings achieved from the elimination of non-compliant outliers.
• Collaborate with National BH, Contracting, Medicaid, and ND&PPS teams to facilitate the operational application of the metric, including compliance with MHPAEA and Humana policies.
• Influence the future assessment of ancillary/inpatient psychiatric provider types and other potential areas of opportunity.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations across data source owners, compliance, policy/governance, business, PTC, and National program partners.
• Shape priorities, trade-offs, and roadmap decisions while executing a scalable solution.
• Master’s degree.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in data and analytics, transforming data sets into actionable insights and reporting.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL.
• At least 4 years of experience in project leadership.
• Proficiency in using mathematics, statistics, modeling/Machine Learning modeling, business analysis, and technology to convert high volumes of complex data into advanced analytical solutions.
• Proven experience tackling problems of varying scope and complexity from moderate to substantial.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and collecting both structured and unstructured data sets for analytical and reporting purposes.
• Proficient in creating reports, projections, models, and presentations to support business objectives.
• Capability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making regarding complex issues.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while exercising independent judgment.
• Minimum internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Suggested connection types include wireless, wired cable, or DSL; satellite, cellular, and microwave connections necessitate leadership approval.
• Capacity to work from a dedicated space without interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Preferred: Doctorate degree.
• Preferred: Experience with claims datasets.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Databricks.
