Lead Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable AI and Machine Learning models to address intricate business challenges.

• Create predictive, classification, recommendation, and optimization models utilizing both structured and unstructured data.

• Construct and refine Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications tailored for enterprise scenarios.

• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and strategies for prompt engineering.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and application developers, to deliver AI-driven solutions.

• Assess model performance and continually enhance models for accuracy, scalability, and reliability.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging AI technologies, research advancements, and industry best practices.

• Document models, methodologies, and deployment processes in accordance with enterprise standards.

• Mentor junior data scientists and support the establishment of AI best practices within the team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a comparable AI/ML position.

• Extensive hands-on experience in the development of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models.

• Proficient in building, training, validating, and deploying ML models in production settings.

• Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.

• Familiar with prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Strong programming expertise in Python.

• Experience with ML libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, or similar.

• Skilled in SQL and data manipulation techniques.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
