Lead Data Science AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and train machine learning, deep learning, time series models, Generative AI (multi-modal LLMs), predictive analytics, Natural Language Processing, and Image Processing solutions tailored for healthcare applications.

• Create Generative AI solutions utilizing RAG architecture.

• Employ LangChain, LangGraph, Crew AI, or Open AI Swarm to implement agentic AI frameworks and workflows.

• Construct at least one solution leveraging an Agentic AI framework.

• Develop, test, and deploy AI solutions across cloud and on-premises settings.

• Handle large healthcare datasets, executing data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training while ensuring adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards.

• Build APIs and integrations.

• Implement and enhance AI models within Gainwell’s current technology infrastructure.

• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth system integration.

• Apply MLOps and LLMOps methodologies.

• Assess models and consistently monitor the performance of ML/DL and LLM.

• Enforce security protocols and establish guardrails in Generative AI solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2 to 15 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, focusing on the development and deployment of AI solutions.

• Practical expertise in machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI (multi-modal LLMs), NLP, and computer vision.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI frameworks.

• Experience with developing, deploying, and fine-tuning LLMs (such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar) for real-world applications, including prompt engineering, model optimization, and inference efficiency.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps for scalable AI deployments.

• Skilled in big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL databases).

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for translating business challenges into AI-driven solutions.

• Knowledge of healthcare AI applications and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS) is advantageous.

• Understanding of business use cases, excellent interpersonal skills, architectural skills, and the ability to persuade multiple stakeholders.
