• Oversee advanced data analytics, statistical modeling, and predictive analysis projects to facilitate readiness-based sparing models that aid in decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish analytical goals, formulate problem statements, and convert business challenges into actionable, data-driven strategies.
• Implement, uphold, and enhance process improvements related to documented enterprise data definitions, business rules, governance frameworks, and data quality standards.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering skill development and adherence to analytical best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on data analytics methodologies, tools, and advanced analytical techniques.
• Provide technical knowledge regarding required data and structure to develop and model simulations that identify the most effective options on the readiness cost curve.
• Engage in planning sessions to gather detailed information necessary for developing data pipeline architecture that aligns with project needs.
• Extract relevant data from designated tools, review existing supportability reports and engineering specifics to evaluate data quality before creating a readiness at cost model.
• Document data gathering procedures, pipeline configurations, and data flows to ensure consistency and future support.
• Identify, define, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives for analytics processes, data workflows, and system performance.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
• Encourage effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
• Convey complex technical information in a clear and effective manner.
• Utilize designated software while adhering to business rules and processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy, integrating these into modeling best practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, logistics analysis, or modeling and simulation.
• Advanced expertise in data engineering practices and readiness modeling methodologies within the DoD or a similar complex enterprise environment.
• Proficient in the application of reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA) principles and lifecycle sustainment analysis.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver integrated technical solutions.
• Expert in Opus Suite (OPUS10, SIMLOX, CONNECT) or comparable readiness-based sparing platforms.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
