Data Analytics, Visualisation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance to develop and sustain frameworks for data ingestion and interactive dashboards utilizing various data sets.

• Offer operational support for real-time data collection, ingestion, storage, and analysis solutions.

• Uphold data governance, security, and technical standards for the development and deployment of analytics applications in accordance with organizational policies.

• Participate in gathering requirements and making recommendations for new solutions that adhere to best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Appropriate tertiary level qualification (e.g., Data Science/Analytics/Computer Science/Software Engineering).

• Proficiency in Python/Power BI/R Shiny/Tableau/TSQL.

• Familiarity with API/SharePoint integration.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git repositories).

• Understanding of requirements gathering and data modeling within the Data Science/analytics field.

• Relevant industry or research experience in analytics or data science.

• Insight into the functioning of web applications, including the use of Web APIs.

• Strong quantitative and computational skills.

• Detail-oriented, reliable, and accurate.
