Lead D365 CE Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee teams focused on creating high-quality Low Code solutions.

• Craft modern Low Code solutions along with suitable Pro Code extensions or integrations.

• Provide technical leadership for teams engaged in building and testing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

• Make informed and logical technical choices in a dynamic environment.

• Manage, mentor, and develop a select group of employees.

• Supervise employee performance and support their career advancement.

• Offer guidance to the team while collaboratively addressing challenges.

• Engage with clients and disseminate technical expertise.

• Guide colleagues and other team members through mentorship.

• Design, construct, test, and sustain modern software applications.

• Take ownership of technical elements in Low Code projects, encompassing architecture, estimation, product planning, and the creation of user stories/requirements.

• Balance technical decisions with user requirements and business constraints.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in designing, constructing, testing, and maintaining modern software applications, including Low Code solutions and relevant Pro Code extensions or integrations.

• Experience in providing technical management for teams involved in building and testing modern, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

• Familiarity with software development principles, practices, and patterns such as XP and TDD.

• Proven experience in managing the technical aspects of a Low Code project, including architecture, estimation, product planning, and user story/requirement development.

• Demonstrated ability to balance technical choices with user needs and business considerations.

• Expertise in Low Code software design and development across all solution layers.

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies.

• Ability to determine when to leverage out-of-the-box Power Platform features, low-code customization, or pro-code development.

• Over 5 years of experience with Dynamics 365 CE and Microsoft Power Platform.

• Strong skills in Dataverse and model-driven app development.

• Experience with CE modules such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, and Customer Insights.

• Proficient in C# plug-in development and PCF development using TypeScript/React.

• Experience in JavaScript form customization and Power Automate.

• Knowledge of public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS solutions.

• Desirable: Skills in TypeScript, REST API integrations, Azure DevOps, Power Platform ALM, Azure Functions, APIM/Azure Service Bus, and AI-driven delivery.
