Lead Consultant – Business Software, Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• You will provide guidance to our public sector clients—including government agencies, churches, hospitals, and social insurance providers—and create innovative, tailored solutions utilizing our software in collaboration with them.

• Responsible for designing intricate government solution architectures utilizing our OpenText software across diverse platforms or within cloud environments.

• Offer business consulting services to clients during all phases of digital transformation, focusing on public sector-specific business issues.

• Formulate rollout scenarios and implementation strategies.

• Identify functional enhancements and customizations, as well as engage in testing and documentation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• Several years of relevant professional experience within the Italian public sector, paired with a passion for client consulting and advisory roles.

• Proficiency in one or more technologies is essential: SQL, client-server, web, operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases (Oracle, SQL Server), cloud environments (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes).

• Programming skills in languages such as Visual Basic, Java (Script), C#, .NET, HTML, Python, etc., are considered beneficial.

• Willingness to travel for on-site consulting with our clients.

• Fluent in Italian (native) and possess very good written and spoken English skills.
