Lead C#/.NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical liaison within the development team, without direct management duties.

• Engage in hands-on development and contribute to architecture using C#/.NET.

• Implement your own features and resolve bugs as part of the sprint.

• Take responsibility for complex technical tasks and address architectural challenges.

• Participate in architectural decisions related to modularization, interfaces, and security.

• Enhance core systems with C#/.NET and MS SQL, transforming them into resilient, containerized Kubernetes services.

• Focus on observability, performance, scalability, security, and deployment.

• Provide technical support during refinement sessions and articulate technical concepts effectively to Product Managers.

• Optimize and expand CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Azure DevOps.

• Implement Clean Code practices, conduct code reviews, and establish automated testing with a shift-left approach.

• Document processes and systems thoroughly.

• Create best-practice guidelines and technical standards.

• Offer technical mentoring and coaching to developers in areas such as architecture, Clean Code, and systems thinking.

• Assist in the onboarding of new team members.

• Encourage continuous learning and professional exchange.

• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on technical matters and direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in developing web applications using C#/.NET.

• Expertise in scalable database systems such as MS SQL and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with contemporary backend architectures and modular services.

• Familiarity with Angular (v15+) and RabbitMQ is an advantage.

• Strong dedication to quality, pragmatism, and a comprehensive understanding of products.

• Experience in integrating new technologies and digital solutions.

• Solid grasp of the opportunities and constraints of AI within a business setting.

• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-assisted development; preferably, experience in integrating AI-driven features.

• Proven experience with Docker/Kubernetes, fully automated deployments, and Infrastructure as Code.

• In-depth knowledge of designing, scaling, and orchestrating services.

• Proficiency in GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.

• Experience with automated unit and system testing.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.

• Interest in collaboration with Product Managers and stakeholders during discovery processes.

• English proficiency of at least C1 level.

• German proficiency of at least B2 level.
