This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Conduct third-party audits in accordance with SGS Certification procedures and relevant standards.
• Make informed decisions throughout the audit process and communicate any issues requiring resolution outside of the audit to SGS CBE.
• Gather and assess sufficient information to provide a recommendation for certification.
• Oversee and execute auditing activities, including the planning and management of other audit team members.
• Achieve qualification as a Lead Auditor in multiple standards, such as ISO 22716, EU GMP, WHO GMP/GDP, EFfCI, EXCiPACT, ISO 15378, and ISO 9001.
• Carry out integrated audits when necessary according to global and local procedures and technical-manager instructions.
• Execute certification audits in alignment with SGS procedures and sector-specific schemes and standards.
• Assess whether registration should be recommended or continue based on audit findings.
• Utilize the SGS Certification System in all auditing activities.
• Collaborate effectively with audit teams.
• Provide adequate audit experience to support SGS Certification's accredited activities.
• Engage in witness audits conducted by SGS or accreditation bodies.
• Maintain all credentials related to auditing.
• Comply with internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• A Bachelor’s degree in science or bio-science is highly preferred; other science disciplines may be considered with relevant additional training.
• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a recognized management role within the PCP industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or coordination of quality and safety management systems.
• A minimum of 5 years of auditing experience.
• Must be qualified as an ISO lead auditor, particularly for pharmaceutical or OTC products.
• Must have authorization to travel and provide auditing services in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the medical device sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and/or ISO 50001 based management systems is preferred.
• Experience in delivering training is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time via automobile and airplane.
• Some international travel may require flights exceeding 8 hours.
• Weekend travel may be necessary.
