This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for carriage and release system solutions on airborne platforms within the US domestic market.
• Facilitate customer interactions, develop strategies, conduct market assessments, create business cases, capture business, and foster pipeline growth.
• Oversee business accounts, manage discretionary spending budgets, utilize CRM tools, and develop 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year business plans.
• Plan, forecast, and execute marketing and sales strategies for assigned products.
• Establish booking targets, plans, and market strategies while ensuring the achievement of these goals.
• Engage in the IRAD process and align investments with business objectives.
• Create product roadmaps and oversee the development and launch of new products.
• Maintain competitive intelligence and a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape.
• Build and leverage relationships with customers, decision-makers, acquisition officials, and industry partners.
• Provide marketing insights and direction for successful proposals.
• Collaborate with in-plant functional areas to meet customer requirements.
• Travel as necessary, including attending trade shows and delivering customer briefings.
• Develop and revise business cases, manage the capture gating process, and oversee bookings forecasts.
• Regularly update senior sales and operations personnel on account matters and financial performance.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of related experience without a degree.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Strategic market development expertise, ideally shown through previous new product introductions or platform design-in experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Capability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading and collaborating in multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team settings.
• Previous military experience related to military airborne platforms and/or airborne munitions is preferred.
• Familiarity with carriage and release market technology trends and challenges is preferred.
• Direct experience with US DOD procurement and contracting practices is preferred.
• Experience in developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions is preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM software is preferred.
• Capability to obtain a US Secret clearance.
