This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee business development initiatives for L3Harris' Antenna Products range within the Tactical Airborne Systems Division.
• Seek out sales opportunities for communication, SATCOM, navigation, data link, and EW antennas on airborne systems.
• Engage directly with customers and formulate business development strategies, market evaluations, business cases, and capture plans.
• Handle business capture, manage capture gating, promote pipeline growth, oversee account management, discretionary spending budgets, and CRM tasks.
• Create business plans for 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year timelines.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the US domestic market.
• Plan, forecast, and execute marketing and sales strategies for designated products.
• Establish bookings objectives, plans, and market approaches.
• Contribute to the IRAD process and align investments with corporate goals.
• Develop product roadmaps and oversee new product development and launch.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and landscape analysis.
• Build and utilize relationships with customers, decision-makers, acquisition officials, and industry collaborators.
• Supply marketing insights and guidance for successful proposals.
• Collaborate with in-plant functional teams to meet customer demands.
• Travel for customer engagements and trade shows, up to 50% of the time.
• Create and deliver customer-centric presentation materials.
• Develop, enhance, and revise business cases.
• Generate and manage bookings forecasts.
• Administer the CRM database.
• Provide consistent updates to senior sales and operations personnel regarding account matters and financial status.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Or, in the absence of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience.
• Capability to obtain a US Secret clearance.
• Strong strategic market development skills.
• Proficient in written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• Skilled in generating and delivering clear and convincing briefings.
• Ability to converse with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in leading and collaborating within multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic teams.
• Understanding of antenna product market technology trends and challenges.
• Direct experience with US DOD procurement and contracting processes.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM software.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Previous military experience related to military airborne platforms and/or airborne munitions is preferred.
