Lead Business Applications Analyst, Yardi Facilities Manager, Yardi Maintenance IQ experience preferred

📋 Description

• Drive application workstreams within the broader program, taking ownership of scope, priorities, plans, and outcomes.

• Direct and manage project efforts across Senior Business Applications Analysts and Business Applications Analysts, establishing priorities, work packages, and timelines while assessing delivery quality.

• Manage project plans, coordinate resources, and oversee milestones, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control.

• Cultivate relationships with operators, senior leaders, internal teams, and partners to achieve business objectives.

• Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and align on processes and delivery priorities.

• Negotiate project scope, timelines, priorities, and solution alternatives with operators, Yardi, and vendors.

• Spearhead the standardized design of work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and unit turns.

• Utilize knowledge of Yardi FM and Yardi MIQ to inform solution design and implementation.

• Coordinate with Yardi, consultants, IT, and support teams regarding configuration, integrations, and data readiness.

• Ensure design approvals, documentation standards, governance, quality assurance, and data integrity are maintained.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect prioritization, acceptance criteria, and business functional sign-off.

• Oversee operational readiness, training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), communications, and support in collaboration with the AVP, Operations.

• Manage cutover, deployment, hypercare, and handover; address issues and promote user adoption.

• Report progress and decisions to senior leadership; escalate significant risks and resource gaps as necessary.

• Manage cross-program dependencies, resolve obstacles, and facilitate stakeholder decisions.

• Monitor one-time and recurring costs against the business case or budget to support ROI objectives.

• Advocate for best practices and continuous enhancements of workflows and application performance.

• Expect out-of-area and overnight travel as specified in particular projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to provide project-based leadership and coordinate priorities and delivery among Senior Business Applications Analysts and Business Applications Analysts without formal line management authority.

• Strong project management capabilities: planning, resources, milestones, risks, issues, and agile methodologies.

• Proficient in negotiation, influence, conflict resolution, and stakeholder decision-making.

• Working knowledge of Yardi Facilities Manager (FM), Yardi Maintenance IQ (MIQ), and Direct Supply TELS.

• Business analysis and process design expertise in work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and unit turns.

• Ability to lead multiple concurrent workstreams and manage inter-program dependencies.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, senior-level communication, and reporting.

• Effective in documentation, quality assurance, problem-solving, and change management.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, facilities or estate-management systems, or technology implementation.

• Proven track record in leading complex maintenance or enterprise application implementations.

• Experience in guiding and coordinating the work of business analysts across various project workstreams.

• Ownership of delivery plans, risk management, testing, stakeholder decisions, and go-live readiness.

• Experience in applying maintenance systems to enhance processes and customer experiences.

• Demonstrated experience in negotiating delivery commitments with operators, stakeholders, and vendors.

• Background in project management and technical or business application support.

• Experience in implementing system changes within a SOX-compliant environment is preferred.

• Agile, Six Sigma, or PMP certification is strongly preferred.
