Lead Applied Value Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Identify & Frame Value: Discover and translate customers’ strategic priorities into impactful Celonis use cases, create demos and business cases, utilizing industry benchmarks and best practices to acquire new clients.

• Undertake Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects, articulating the value proposition and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.

• Realize Value: Lead business value workshops and employ Celonis to pinpoint and validate opportunities for process enhancement, derive improvement measures in key business functions, initiate improvement actions, and enterprise-wide change initiatives, presenting outcomes and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.

• Scale Value: Oversee the complete customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing, while developing a strategic expansion roadmap for customers to integrate Celonis Process Intelligence as a key business transformation platform within their organization, driving adoption and growth. Provide insights to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and Apps based on new use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Live for Customer Value: Minimum of 7 years of experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and related software deployment. Experience ideally in a customer-facing role within Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting at a Business Software/SaaS Provider or Consultancy. Alternatively, experience in an in-house role (e.g., Center of Excellence for Data Mining/Analytics/Intelligence) within an Enterprise.

• Data, Analytics, Applications & IT: Strong understanding of Business Software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience in implementing RPA and/or BI Tools, and/or developing Dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows. Knowledge of Python and experience collaborating with IT teams.

• Process Improvement & Value Realization: Proven track record in identifying use cases for business process improvement and executing improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users/process owners to achieve value realization.

• Project Management: Proficient in planning and overseeing project scopes, expectations, and timelines. You will manage multiple projects across your designated accounts at various stages of the value journey, leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem whenever feasible.

• Executive Stakeholder Management: Skilled in preparing and presenting (value) roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with a confident demeanor.

• Business Domain Expertise: Knowledge of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain, in addition to strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation).

• Industry Expertise: Ideally, possess expertise in one or more industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals) and the capability to develop a profound understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.

• Degree: A degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field of study.
