This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Collaborate closely with business partners to identify challenges, desired outcomes, and operational realities.
• Identify effective technical solutions through automation, agent, and AI methodologies.
• Convert business and process requirements into design solutions.
• Develop and implement production-ready automation, agent, and AI-driven solutions.
• Manage solutions throughout the entire lifecycle from discovery and design to build, deployment, and optimization.
• Utilize engineering principles such as integrations, APIs, data modeling, error handling, and performance factors.
• Enhance low-code solutions with engineering or machine learning capabilities when suitable.
• Ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and comply with enterprise standards.
• Act as a subject-matter authority on automation, agent, low-code, and AI technologies.
• Provide guidance on solution selection, architectural trade-offs, and platform suitability.
• Direct solution design decisions for complex or high-stakes initiatives.
• Educate team members on emerging technologies and capabilities.
• Collaborate with Operational Excellence Enablement and Lean Six Sigma Black Belts to align solution design with optimized processes and measurable outcomes.
• Define and contribute to standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to auditability, monitoring, and operational support requirements.
• Identify opportunities to further automate standardized processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise automation, agent-based, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong comprehension of automation platforms, agent technologies, integrations, and solution architecture.
• Experience in translating business and process needs into technical designs.
• Proven capability to collaborate directly with business partners and technical teams to achieve results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Experience working with Lean Six Sigma Black Belts or Operational Excellence teams.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and outcome assessment.
• Experience with AI-driven workflows, autonomous agents, or digital workers.
• Background in enterprise-scale solution design and delivery.
• Experience in evaluating and piloting new automation or AI technologies.
• Capability to function as a hands-on expert while influencing solution direction across a team.
