This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the daily management of invoicing operations to ensure they are accurate, timely, and compliant with client agreements.
• Provide mentorship and support to colleagues through guidance, troubleshooting, and peer training.
• Collaborate with the team manager to facilitate onboarding and cross-training initiatives, including documenting and sharing process insights.
• Aid in prioritizing the team's workload and identifying potential bottlenecks or resource shortages.
• Promote a positive and collaborative team environment by encouraging open communication and ongoing learning.
• Engage in team meetings, help stimulate participation, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the group.
• Step in to assist with the preparation and submission of invoices during peak times or complex situations.
• Act as a primary resource and subject matter expert (SME) on invoicing processes, tools, and best practices.
• Recognize and escalate workflow challenges or recurring issues to the Manager, suggesting solutions and process improvements.
• Monitor operational metrics and KPIs to support reporting and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Coordinate or lead small projects to improve invoicing workflows, system automation, or team training.
• Assist with weekly and monthly net revenue audits by reviewing invoice data, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and collaborating with Finance to ensure alignment with reporting timelines.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between the Invoicing Operations team and key stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 4 years of experience in invoicing, accounting, or financial operations.
• Practical experience in submitting invoices through third-party systems such as OpenInvoice, Cortex, ARIBA, Fieldglass, or Pro-Unlimited/Wand.
• Proficient in NetSuite or a similar ERP system (e.g., Open Invoice, Field Glass).
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to varied audiences.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite applications.
• Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
