Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Deliver daily legal support to the business operations.

• Manage corporate and commercial legal issues, which includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.

• Assist the organization with international and cross-border legal matters across various jurisdictions.

• Independently address routine legal issues and offer practical legal guidance to the business.

• Recognize complex or jurisdiction-specific issues that necessitate external expertise, engage suitable external legal counsel, and oversee their activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3+ years of pertinent legal experience, particularly with international and cross-border matters involving US, UK, and EU jurisdictions.

• Hands-on experience in corporate and commercial law.

• Experience in intellectual property (IP) law.

• Proven track record of working with and coordinating external legal counsel.

• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and establish legal processes from the ground up.

• Fluency in Russian and B2+ proficiency in English, enabling effective contract review, negotiation, and communication with external counsel and counterparties.

• A business-oriented, proactive approach, strong communication abilities, and the capability to provide practical, commercially-focused legal advice.

• Experience in consumer electronics, hardware, or an international product company (preferred).

• Practical knowledge of UAE and Chinese law (preferred).

• Alternatively, relevant experience at a law firm, especially advising international or technology-driven clients (preferred).
