This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire invaluable educational experience in communications or policy at the state legislative level
• Establish connections that support your career development
• Assist state lawmakers in enhancing lives through effective communications and messaging tools tailored for state legislatures
• Conduct research on lawmakers’ media presence
• Create media analyses
• Support local press monitoring and reporting efforts
• High school diploma or equivalent, along with 1-2 years of further study or work experience
• A strong passion for empowering states to fulfill the American Promise
• Outstanding critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment while managing sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to effectively manage time and tasks in a fast-paced organizational environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment of up to 30 hours per week during standard U.S. business hours
• Availability from September 8, 2026, to December 23, 2026
• We will collaborate with you to facilitate obtaining school credit where applicable
