This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Take charge of data migrations for multiple customer implementations at the same time.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all migrations.
• Work closely with over 15 assigned Launch Managers to ensure timely and error-free go-lives.
• Convert payroll, benefits, and demographic data from spreadsheets and PDFs into the required formats for Miter.
• Access clients’ cloud-based prior providers to gather setup data and import it into Miter.
• Collaborate with clients to determine the best methods for extracting data from on-premises prior providers.
• Identify any missing or incorrect data and proactively communicate necessary corrections to clients and Launch Managers.
• Design and create scalable processes, automations, and tools, including AI-driven workflows.
• Work with the larger Launch team and support additional opportunities within the team.
• A minimum of 2 years in a data-intensive operations, implementation, or migration role.
• Practical experience in extracting, transforming, and validating data across various systems.
• Ability to handle a high volume of simultaneous projects and meet customer-driven deadlines.
• Proven track record of developing or enhancing processes and tools.
• Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets, including formulas, lookups, data cleaning, and automation.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to streamline and expedite work.
• Quick learner capable of mastering new software and systems, including unfamiliar payroll/HR platforms.
• A builder mindset focused on creating repeatable tools and automations.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with Launch Managers and clients.
• Clear and proactive communication when addressing data issues or corrections.
• Comfortable managing projects amidst uncertainty while keeping them on track.
• Knowledge of payroll and/or tax (a plus).
• Familiarity with ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, or Sage/Foundation (a plus).
• Experience with SQL, scripting, or other automation tools beyond spreadsheets (a plus).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
