This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +2 more states.
• Conceive, develop, and execute projects and initiatives within a specific field-discipline that aligns with the strategic direction and goals of claims.
• Oversee a portion of operations for a team within a market claim office, which includes leading, training, inspiring, engaging, and motivating both leaders and team members.
• Supervise a group of experienced Large Loss Adjusters managing intricate bodily injury claims across all 50 states.
• Ensure that direct reports comprehend business objectives, results, and operational processes.
• Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere that encourages and energizes employees.
• Formulate and guide business unit action plans.
• Address and resolve escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts, and issues.
• Execute human resources responsibilities including resource management, hiring, performance evaluations, talent development, and compensation planning.
• Make informed decisions regarding complex claims and identify opportunities for hiring, training, and succession planning.
• Create and implement both short-term and long-term strategies and process enhancements to meet corporate financial objectives.
• Evaluate results and contribute to strategies and action plans that support customer service, loss-cost management, and expense-control targets.
• Experienced Large Loss Bodily Injury Manager.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Strong background in managing high-exposure claims across Commercial, Homeowners, Personal Auto, and various other lines of business.
• Experience in handling claims within challenging litigation settings and high-severity venues.
• Exceptional technical knowledge and strategic oversight of significant bodily injury exposures.
• Robust claims management capabilities.
• Ability to manage claims with policy limits of 250/500 and above.
• Supervisory experience is essential.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Individuals currently holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not have outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants seeking an adjuster position who possess a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.
• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working remotely.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.
