Laboratory Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations and organization of the demonstration laboratory.

• Ensure that all laboratory activities are performed safely and comply with relevant Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessments.

• Develop and uphold laboratory safety protocols, SOPs, and associated documentation.

• Manage the inventory of demonstration instruments, ensuring that equipment is accessible, functional, and maintained to the required standards.

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and relocation of demonstration equipment.

• Oversee laboratory consumables, chemical inventory, samples, gases, accessories, and other essential supplies.

• Provide support for customer events, open days, product launches, and other marketing initiatives held in the laboratory.

• Join the company’s fire marshal and first aid team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of laboratory Health & Safety requirements, including COSHH and risk assessments.

• Prior experience in a laboratory, technical, or scientific setting.

• Familiarity with analytical or laboratory instrumentation would be beneficial.

• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to upholding high standards of safety, quality, and presentation.

• A practical, hands-on approach with a proactive mindset towards problem-solving.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently with a positive attitude.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

• Residing within convenient access to the Luton office.
