This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Sanford Laboratories and its clientele.
• Address inquiries, provide guidance, and showcase new laboratory products.
• Offer consultation and support regarding reference laboratory matters for customers within the assigned region.
• Evaluate sales performance, negotiate contracts, and outline the scope of services.
• Meet monthly and yearly sales objectives.
• Educate, mentor, and promote additional services to both existing and newly acquired accounts within a specified geographic area.
• Formulate sales strategies for current and prospective territories.
• Market laboratory services by fostering relationships with clients and potential customers.
• Attain organizational and territorial revenue goals while enhancing sales in the designated region.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize quality, assess profitability, and cultivate strategic customer connections.
• Deliver continuous customer support and resolve issues within the geographic area.
• Retain and expand existing accounts while acquiring new ones.
• Identify product enhancements and new offerings by observing industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Conduct service evaluations and account management tasks.
• Keep precise records of account management and sales prospecting efforts.
• Document sales activities, pipeline, referrals, and forecasts in the client relationship management database.
• Maintain professional and technical expertise through workshops, publications, networking, benchmarking, and professional associations.
• Travel to laboratory locations as required at the discretion of leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of demonstrated success in sales growth within the medical sales sector.
• Experience in a laboratory setting within a hospital or clinic for at least two years is preferred.
• Two years of experience specifically in diagnostic sales is desirable.
• Capability to convey product information effectively when engaging with physicians.
• A strong commitment to fostering Sanford’s values of accountability, integrity, service, and excellence.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must adhere to all guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
