This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Sanford Laboratories and its clients.
• Address inquiries, provide guidance, and present new laboratory products.
• Consult with clients and offer insights regarding reference laboratory matters within a specified territory.
• Analyze sales performance, negotiate contracts, and define service scopes.
• Meet monthly and yearly sales objectives.
• Educate, guide, and upsell to both existing and newly acquired accounts within a designated geographic area.
• Formulate sales strategies for current and prospective territories.
• Market laboratory services by fostering relationships with clients and potential clients.
• Attain revenue goals for the territory and increase sales according to set quotas.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance quality, assess profitability, and establish strategic customer relations.
• Provide continual service and problem resolution to clients within the geographic area.
• Retain and expand assigned accounts while acquiring new ones.
• Recognize product enhancements and new offerings by observing industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors.
• Identify potential clients and assess industry standing through research and sales option analysis.
• Perform service reviews and account management responsibilities.
• Follow up to ensure operational effectiveness for both the practice and Sanford Laboratories.
• Keep precise records of account management and sales prospecting endeavors.
• Record sales activities, pipeline status, referrals, and forecasts in the client relationship management database.
• Maintain professional and technical expertise for personal advancement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences or a related discipline is mandatory.
• At least two years of demonstrated success in medical sales growth.
• Preferably two years of laboratory experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.
• Two years of experience specifically in diagnostic sales is favored.
• Capacity to effectively communicate product information while engaging with physicians.
• A strong desire to contribute to Sanford’s culture of accountability, integrity, service, and excellence.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must adhere to all criteria for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
• Regular travel to territory locations is necessary.
• Ability to travel to any laboratory site based on facility requirements and leadership discretion.
