This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and relevant regulations, including reviewing proposed adverse actions for compliance.
• Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the CBA.
• Collaborate with union representatives to address and resolve various issues.
• Assist in labor category mapping and review Department of Labor (DOL) wage determinations related to Service Contract Act (SCA) activities.
• Respond to inquiries regarding SCA labor categories and wage determination requirements.
• Manage labor grievances in conjunction with the assigned HR Generalist, ensuring adherence to resolution procedures.
• Act as the Union Partner for HR and Payroll, overseeing aspects such as union dues, seniority, wage, and grade placement.
• Process union dues authorization forms, calculate dues rates, and implement annual increases.
• Generate monthly union dues reports in ADP for both union dues and pension reporting.
• Provide support during CBA negotiations and standardization processes during renewals.
• Address payroll inquiries related to CBAs.
• Assist payroll and accounting teams with audit-related inquiries.
• Compile and prepare spreadsheets for monthly dues and pensions.
• Submit dues and pension spreadsheets and payments to unions.
• Request updated pension rate spreadsheets on an annual basis.
• Prepare requests for monthly dues and pension checks.
• Address union inquiries regarding monthly dues and pension spreadsheets and payments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements, Department of Labor (DOL) wage determinations, and labor category mapping processes.
• Ability to interpret contract requirements and align positions with relevant SCA labor categories.
• Familiarity with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
• Understanding of HR practices, policies, and collective bargaining processes.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate transaction data and producing reports.
• Capable of handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Quick learner who can thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues, external agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates.
• High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in human resources, labor relations, HR operations, government contracting, or a related field.
