Lab Informatics Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales teams to analyze requirements, define delivery scope, and engage in initial customer discussions to propose customized solutions.

• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations.

• Assess customer needs and convert them into SLIMS workflows.

• Configure the SLIMS platform to align with laboratory specifications.

• Develop plugins for instrument connections or to showcase custom forms and portals.

• Shape future product design based on customer insights.

• Lead or assist in project delivery, ensuring successful implementation.

• Provide training to customers.

• Integrate laboratory in-silico tools within the integration framework.

• Oversee OpenLab projects and the delivery of SLIMS solutions.

• Offer troubleshooting support both remotely and on-site.

• Deliver technical assistance for critical customer escalations.

• Work alongside R&D, product marketing, and support teams to communicate customer feedback and enhance service offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent qualification.

• Post-graduate education, certification, and/or licenses may be necessary.

• Generally, a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience is required for entry at this level.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python with demonstrated coding abilities.

• A solid history of solution delivery within an Implementation team or similar roles.

• Capability to swiftly understand customer requirements and document them effectively.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships.

• Competence in managing competing priorities.

• Capacity to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.

• Self-driven and independent.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to travel 70% of the time for business needs and client meetings.

• An early understanding of OpenLab solutions and SLIMS is a plus.

• Experience with LIMS and project management is advantageous.
