This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Dispatch all service orders to field personnel within fifteen minutes of order entry.
• Manage and supervise cases to ensure proper dispatching, completion, pickup, and processing in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Evaluate, organize, and allocate cases utilizing coverage-area expertise and available on-duty phlebotomists.
• Monitor all dispatched assignments and perform case follow-up throughout the shift.
• Ensure that all work assignments are completed and provide assistance wherever necessary.
• Prepare daily assignments for multiple phlebotomists.
• Maintain communication throughout the shift, including tracking and rerouting as needed.
• Interact with Area/Regional Phlebotomy Management, Logging Area, Stat Tracking, Customer Service, Call Center, Redraw Department, and Courier Services.
• Accommodate special requests from facilities, prioritize urgent laboratory orders, expedite critical cases, and conduct ongoing follow-up.
• Provide comprehensive written documentation of issues and conduct minor investigations or troubleshooting when required.
• Immediately notify the Dispatch Manager regarding difficult-to-manage situations.
• Seek opportunities for self-improvement and adapt to proposed changes.
• Execute additional duties as assigned and assist during attendance-related issues.
• Handle high-volume phone calls from facilities, phlebotomists, in-house personnel, and field employees.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient to expert in using Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent communication skills, both in listening and confirming messages received, as well as in conveying all necessary information clearly.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks in a busy call center environment.
• Must reside within 50 miles of 3424 Midcourt Road, Suite 112, Carrollton, Texas 75006.
• Must have a private workspace free from external noise and distractions.
• Must meet safety checklist requirements.
• High-speed internet connection is necessary to support VoIP communications; fiber or cable is recommended.
• DSL and satellite connections are not advised.
• Must successfully pass TridentCare's Network Performance Test.
• Must have access to a PC capable of running the test; Chromebooks are not accepted.
• Knowledge of dispatch and routing processes.
• Understanding of customer service principles.
