This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Provide both remote and on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues for a variety of clients.
• Design and implement network and server solutions that meet the business needs of clients.
• Actively monitor the ticketing system to ensure prompt resolution of technical support issues for clients.
• Keep clients updated on the status of incidents, and inform them of any upcoming changes or outages.
• Adhere to change management procedures for all modifications to client environments, while striving to uphold industry Best Practices across all client sites.
• Engage in discussions regarding solutions, incidents, and requests with a diverse range of technical personnel, managers, and executives.
• Utilize industry resources such as product documentation, knowledge base articles, FAQs, and online tools to assist in resolving incidents.
• Support technical support team members with any issues that require assistance or escalation.
• Aim to understand and enhance IT infrastructure, contributing to the establishment of standards that improve client reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with assigned project leads and project managers, completing assigned tasks within the defined project scope and milestones to ensure successful project deployment for clients.
• Aid the project management team in creating IT proposals and plans.
• Document all work performed professionally and submit accurate timesheets.
• Utilize front-line client experience to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals for clients regarding new equipment or services.
• Undertake additional tasks as directed by management in relation to your area of expertise.
• A university or college degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in the IT industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in a System Administrator role at a managed IT services provider (MSP).
• Possession of industry certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Palo Alto, or Veeam.
• Proactive in nature, with the ability to identify issues in advance and seek opportunities for continuous service improvement.
• Capable of managing multiple clients under tight deadlines.
• Strong research skills related to a wide range of computing issues are required.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills are a must, as this is a customer-facing position.
