KYB Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive KYB assessments for MoonPay partners, encompassing information collection, documentation validation, and risk evaluation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

• Examine intricate corporate structures to pinpoint beneficial owners and ensure adherence to KYB and AML regulations.

• Conduct adverse media and risk evaluations, determining potential financial crime, reputational, and regulatory risks.

• Assess partner business models and offerings to confirm compliance with MoonPay’s internal guidelines.

• Deliver prompt and professional assistance to corporate clients regarding onboarding and compliance inquiries.

• Collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, and Enterprise Sales teams to manage escalations and address high-risk or complex scenarios.

• Serve as a KYB subject matter expert and escalation resource for customer-facing teams.

• Create, document, and continuously enhance KYB procedures by identifying inefficiencies and implementing data-driven improvements.

• Assist with KYC onboarding processes and perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) as necessary.

• Participate in project initiatives, training programs, and facilitate the development of teammates or BPO partners as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in corporate onboarding, with solid knowledge of KYB, KYC, and AML regulations.

• Background in fintech, crypto, or Web3 sectors, with a grasp of the relevant regulatory framework.

• Exceptional research, investigative, and analytical abilities, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and sound risk assessment skills.

• Capability to analyze corporate structures and beneficial ownership, with clear documentation of findings and decisions.

• Experience with or support of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for higher-risk corporate entities.

• Familiarity with collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Sales, or Risk in regulated settings.

• Background in customer support or customer-facing operational roles, specifically managing onboarding, compliance, or verification inquiries.
