This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Set up, deploy, and oversee Kubernetes clusters across IL2, IL4, and IL5 environments.
• Design and manage Helm charts and Kubernetes operators to facilitate declarative deployment and automated scaling of ESRI ArcGIS services.
• Establish persistent volume claims and provision container-native storage utilizing AWS EBS and Azure disks.
• Incorporate Kubernetes-native monitoring and logging solutions, including Prometheus, Fluentd, and OpenTelemetry.
• Assist in achieving mission-critical objectives associated with the specified work order.
• Enhance containerized transformation pipelines.
• Diagnose issues with containerized applications.
• Implement service mesh architectures like Istio or Linkerd.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Collaborate with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud infrastructure services.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related discipline, or at least five (5) years of professional experience in Kubernetes administration.
• Proven experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience in troubleshooting containerized applications.
• Background in implementing service mesh architectures such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficient in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud infrastructure services.
• Expertise in orchestrating Kubernetes clusters and container networking.
• Working knowledge of Helm chart deployment and automation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and Kubernetes monitoring/logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Capability to implement service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linkerd.
• Ability to obtain and sustain the necessary clearance outlined by the program.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (Preferred, Not Required).
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (Preferred, Not Required).
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer (Preferred, Not Required).
