Korean to Japanese Lyric Translation Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and analyze machine-translated lyrics for accuracy, coherence, and natural expression.

• Assign quality ratings based on established evaluation standards.

• Detect problems such as mistranslations, unnatural phrases, or cultural discrepancies.

• Uphold a consistent and impartial assessment throughout the evaluation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in both Korean (South Korea) and Japanese (Japan).

• Strong grasp of linguistic subtleties, idiomatic phrases, and cultural references in both languages.

• Capability to pay attention to detail and sustain focus over extensive amounts of text.

• Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assessment is advantageous but not mandatory.

• [Nice to have] Knowledge of various music genres and lyrical forms.

• [Nice to have] Familiarity with online evaluation tools or platforms.
