Korean Marketplace Representative – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact between the company, Coupang, and other pertinent local partners.

• Assist with the Korean-language localization of product listings, brand content, promotions, and materials aimed at customers.

• Ensure that products, packaging, labeling, and marketplace activities comply with South Korean regulations and marketplace standards.

• Oversee or coordinate product setup, listing accuracy, pricing, promotional efforts, advertising, and the overall brand presentation on marketplace platforms.

• Track marketplace performance, gather customer feedback, observe competitor actions, and analyze consumer trends, providing regular insights and suggestions.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams on inventory planning, restocking, returns, and operational requirements.

• Address marketplace challenges related to inventory, account health, fulfillment, fees, customer experience, and other operational issues.

• Discover opportunities to enhance marketplace performance and foster ongoing growth in the Korean market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing, supporting, or optimizing seller activities on Coupang or another significant South Korean e-commerce marketplace.

• Professional proficiency in both Korean and English, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Knowledge of South Korean e-commerce operations, consumer behavior, and best practices in the marketplace.

• Familiarity with product listings, digital merchandising, promotions, advertising, and compliance requirements for marketplaces.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to coordinate across various teams and stakeholders.

• Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently in a contractor role.

• Residing in South Korea or possessing extensive experience in the South Korean market.

• Experience in assisting international brands selling through Korean marketplaces.

• Understanding of local regulatory, labeling, or consumer requirements pertaining to e-commerce sales.
