Kid’s Products Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Lead, motivate, and cultivate a high-performing team of animators, sound designers, UX/UI designers, and artists.

• Establish the creative vision for lesson content art and features in the kids' area, guided by user needs and industry best practices.

• Foster design integration across various products to enhance brand consistency.

• Develop clear standards, workflows, and quality benchmarks for asset production.

• Advocate for the use of AI tools in asset creation to boost efficiency, scalability, and turnaround times.

• Investigate and implement new creative technologies that elevate team output while maintaining quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Content teams to realize innovative ideas.

• Offer constructive feedback and creative direction to uphold a consistently high standard of output.

• Balance creativity, quality, speed, and business objectives in a fast-paced environment.

• Contribute to the evolution of the kid-focused design function through effective planning, structure, and team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior UX/UI Design role within product, animation, gaming, edtech, children's media, or a similar field.

• Demonstrated success in leading and nurturing multidisciplinary creative teams.

• Strong proficiency in art direction, visual storytelling, animation production, and digital asset creation.

• A keen sense for branding, with experience in maintaining consistency across various products or platforms.

• Solid understanding of AI tools for visual and/or audio asset creation, with the ability to implement them in practical, high-impact ways.

• Experience in advocating for new tools, workflows, and methodologies that enhance speed and efficiency.

• Excellent skills in planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management.

• Confidence in collaborating across functions with both creative and non-creative partners.

• A passion for crafting joyful, imaginative, and high-quality experiences for children.
