This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify appropriate municipalities and engage with mayors, municipal utilities (Stadtwerke), economic development agencies, and relevant departments.
• Establish long-term partnerships with cities and municipalities while enhancing existing relationships.
• Persuade administrations, political leaders, and municipal committees regarding infrastructure and collaboration models.
• Facilitate access to streetlights, light poles, public areas, and other infrastructures for telecommunications networks.
• Oversee the site acquisition process from initial outreach through meetings, presentations, and proposals to final contracts.
• Coordinate with municipalities, municipal utilities, mobile operators, network operators, and internal teams.
• Track municipal developments, expansion initiatives, and funding opportunities to identify new sales prospects.
• Record contacts, meeting statuses, and decision-making processes within the CRM system.
• Prepare forecasts, reports, and sales KPIs.
• Represent 5G-Synergiewerk at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
• A degree or equivalent commercial or technical vocational training.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, key account management, or site acquisition.
• Background in telecommunications, mobile networks, fiber optics, energy, or infrastructure is especially advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with cities, municipalities, municipal utilities, municipal companies, or public-sector clients.
• Familiarity with municipal decision-making processes.
• Proactive skills in acquisition and relationship-building.
• Confident demeanor and negotiation abilities when interacting with mayors, managing directors, political leaders, and specialized departments.
• Understanding of technical telecommunications and infrastructure concepts.
• Organized and independent work style.
• Proficient use of MS Office and CRM systems.
• Business-fluent in German.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to travel within Germany.
