This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• As the National Key Account Manager for Retail, you are responsible for developing and expanding existing and new customer relationships within Germany.
• In collaboration with the team, you will create customized annual goals, strategies, and action plans.
• You will independently manage key active and prospective retail centers, which includes ongoing analysis and assessment of market, customer, and competitive conditions.
• You will consolidate expertise from various departments to devise solutions that delight our customers, helping you achieve your sales targets.
• You will actively, transparently, and independently track and report on the revenue and budget goals agreed upon for your assigned customers.
• You ensure optimal collaboration with the internal sales team and departments to implement designated accounts, contracts, and goals (goal realization and customer satisfaction), while also taking on volume forecasting.
• Service orientation is always a priority for you: You will inform and advise our customers on new developments and products.
• At least three years of experience in regional and national key account management in the grocery retail sector (specifically EDEKA) within the FMCG industry (ideally in the cooling/convenience sector).
• Additional professional experience in retail field sales and retail marketing is advantageous.
• Enjoyment in expanding existing customer relationships as well as acquiring new customers.
• Strong customer and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Independent working style, confident demeanor, and a friendly, customer-focused presence.
• Passion for food and interest in topics related to grocery retail, gastronomy, plant-based nutrition, animal welfare, and sustainability.
• Very good verbal and written German skills and good verbal and written English skills are a plus.
• Proficient in PC skills, particularly with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
• Valid driver's license Class B.
