This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Ensure ongoing sales growth and the achievement of sales objectives in designated territories and key accounts.

• Identify new business prospects, broaden the customer base, implement projects, and maintain existing business relationships.

• Forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance AbbVie’s product offerings within specified key accounts.

• Gather field insights, initiate discussions on innovative initiatives, align internal stakeholders, and oversee internal processes.

• Represent AbbVie professionally, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry, products, business climate, and best practices.

• Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and clinical applications to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.

• Foster strategic relationships with customers, KOLs, TAEs, and SMEs across various departments, institutions, societies, and the Academy of Medicine, Malaysia.

• Sustain long-term customer relationships and devise competitive strategies to support growth and productivity objectives.

• Propel strategic customer dialogues utilizing “The Challenger Sale” mindset and skillsets.

• Generate field insights, formulate account action plans, align budgets and goals, and lead seamless implementation.

• Manage hospital accounts and networks, including formulary listings, sample listings, purchasing and dispensing pharmacists, tenders, and price change requests.

• Identify key decision-makers in purchasing and establish strong business relationships with hospital stakeholders and specialists.

• Assess account-level needs, challenges, objectives, patient demographics, treatment preferences, and market trends.

• Adhere to the internal Master Approval Process for third-party promotional activities.

• Increase product utilization within key accounts and create customized business opportunities in collaboration with brand teams and internal stakeholders.

• Establish assigned programs and create solutions within budgetary limits.

• Travel frequently to meet HCPs and stakeholders, visit key accounts, address objections, and resolve issues professionally.

• Utilize Veeva CRM and VAE tools to enhance business outreach and customer engagement.

• Conduct market research, monitor competitor strategies, analyze findings, and formulate response strategies and tactics.

• Analyze sales and market data to develop growth strategies and address anticipated issues.

• Leverage Infrared, IMS, and IQVIA data to improve account management strategies.

• Forecast product demand and sales based on historical data and market trends.

• Create measurable key account sales plans and tactics, ensuring monthly and quarterly forecast accuracy.

• Submit sales reports in Veeva Systems and meet Veeva CRM KPIs.

• Engage in special projects, pricing discussions, contract extensions or amendments, forecasting, business reviews, and customer service matters.


⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree, preferably in science or business.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of substantial sales experience as a hospital representative in the relevant therapeutic area or healthcare sector.

• Expertise in hematology products is preferred.

• A proven history of successful program development and implementation is an added advantage.

• Proficient in both verbal and written communication.

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• A mature, growth-oriented mindset; confident, analytical, and self-motivated.

• Driven, results-oriented, a team player, and demonstrates integrity.

• Experience in a medical setting.

• Sound judgment and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
