This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Take ownership and lead the overall customer relationship for prominent, revenue-generating accounts, serving as the main point of accountability for all account-specific concerns, including commercial, program, and quality management, while establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Develop and sustain robust, long-term customer relationships.
• Represent “Stoneridge” to the customer, ensuring they are informed about our direction, leadership, product pipeline, and more.
• Spearhead the identification of new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to devise strategies that position Stoneridge favorably for business acquisition.
• Expand the current business portfolio, ensure profitability, and pinpoint areas for improvement, benefiting both the customer and Stoneridge.
• Guarantee the prompt and successful delivery of Stoneridge solutions, aligned with customer needs and objectives.
• Serve as the “Voice of the Customer” in discussions with internal stakeholders; comprehend customer needs, technology trends, processes, strategies, decision-makers, etc.
• Manage the quotation process with assistance from product line management, ensuring quotes are delivered timely and professionally, overseeing the RFQ process from start to finish.
• Document and monitor customer open issues, proactively driving their resolution with all relevant functions (e.g., engineering, operations, etc.).
• Lead contract negotiations with support from the Legal team.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• An MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of Key Account Management/Senior Sales or related experience with a proven record of successful performance, including leading discussions with multi-million-dollar accounts.
• At least 5 years of experience within the Off-highway market segment.
• Demonstrated experience or capabilities in engineering or technical sales is highly preferred.
• Exceptional executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Extensive experience in team building, coordination, collaboration, and detailed strategy planning and execution is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily domestic, with potential for international travel.
