This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.
• Enhance the company's visibility, value, efficiency, and profitability by implementing successful sales promotion activities.
• Collaborate with both regional and national internal stakeholders to drive sales and promotional initiatives.
• Engage with and manage relationships with opticians, pediatric ophthalmologists, personnel from children's clinics, and school nurses.
• Ensure effective collaboration with country managers to consistently implement myopia initiatives across various regions while aligning activities with country-specific requirements and regulations.
• Support key account managers in executing myopia-related activities and initiatives to improve the effectiveness of myopia management programs.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance customer relationships at both regional and national levels alongside key account managers.
• Transform customer feedback into valuable market insights and facilitate information sharing across the team and management to refine myopia management programs.
• Ensure promotional compliance with country-specific codes of conduct, legislation, Santen policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal guidelines, while completing necessary administrative tasks promptly.
• Maintain essential medical and commercial knowledge, core competencies, and skillsets, adhering to relevant Santen policies, guidelines, and SOPs.
• Gather and report safety and quality-related information to the Santen Oy Pharmacovigilance Unit and Quality Assurance department as per current requirements.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in account management within the pharmaceutical or ophthalmology sectors.
• Experience in managing myopia-related activities or similar healthcare programs is highly desirable.
• Strong capability to engage and manage relationships with healthcare professionals, including opticians, pediatric ophthalmologists, personnel from children's clinics, and school nurses.
• Comprehensive understanding of myopia management and related healthcare practices, along with familiarity with the healthcare systems and regulations in the country.
• A proven track record of effective communication with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving demands and priorities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Life Sciences, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in ophthalmology, optometry, or related fields are an advantage.
• This is a field-based position that requires significant domestic and international travel.
