This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Lead business development initiatives to secure new clients in the Italian utility-scale solar sector.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with essential stakeholders, including EPCs, developers, investors, and other industry collaborators.
• Utilize your established network within the utility-scale solar field to pinpoint and cultivate new business prospects.
• Showcase Schletter's utility-scale mounting structure solutions to clients and project collaborators.
• Oversee customer interactions throughout the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract finalization.
• Facilitate the quotation, proposal, and commercial processes in close partnership with internal teams.
• Lead commercial and contractual discussions with clients.
• Act as the company's representative at industry events, conferences, and trade exhibitions.
• Frequently visit clients, project locations, and industry associates throughout Italy and the Balkans.
• Assist in market intelligence efforts by tracking industry trends, competitors, and customer requirements.
• Formulate and implement regional sales strategies to enhance market share and bolster Schletter's presence in Italy and selected Balkan regions.
• Several years of proven success in sales or business development within the utility-scale solar sector.
• Strong pre-existing network with EPCs, developers, IPPs, investors, or other key entities in the Italian solar landscape.
• Established connections within the Balkans solar market are regarded as a significant advantage.
• Background in selling technical solutions or components for utility-scale solar projects; experience with mounting structures is a considerable plus.
• Demonstrated success in securing and developing customer relationships and large-scale solar projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.
• Proficient in Italian (native) and English (professional); proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
• Willing to travel extensively within Italy and the Balkans to engage with customers.
• A dynamic team with flat hierarchies.
