• Take ownership and expand the relationship with a strategic retail client in Spain.
• Foster robust relationships across business, IT, digital, and executive stakeholders.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer's strategy, operating model, challenges, and investment priorities.
• Identify new growth opportunities within existing buying centers and other areas of the customer's organization.
• Develop and maintain a structured account growth strategy.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying, shaping, and closing new business opportunities.
• Position relevant capabilities in areas such as digital transformation, AI, data, cloud, customer experience, commerce, and software engineering.
• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to convert successful projects into additional business opportunities.
• Lead proposal initiatives alongside solution, delivery, and commercial teams.
• Establish a strong and actionable pipeline with clear next steps and accountability.
• Define specific account objectives, growth initiatives, and stakeholder maps.
• Understand the customer's retail business model, competitive pressures, and transformation agenda.
• Translate business challenges into technology-driven opportunities.
• Monitor account performance, pipeline evolution, revenue growth, margins, and customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with delivery, technology, marketing, partner teams, and senior leadership.
• Ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery while remaining engaged to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Involve the right experts in customer discussions at the appropriate times.
• Share customer insights internally to enhance positioning, offerings, and delivery quality.
• Over 15 years of experience in key account management, business development, or strategic sales.
• Extensive experience in the Retail industry in Spain or with Spanish retail clients.
• Strong understanding of retail topics such as customer experience, e-commerce, loyalty, supply chain, store operations, data, and digital transformation.
• Experience in selling or shaping technology services, digital solutions, consulting, or software engineering services.
• Excellent ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated success in growing existing accounts.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
