Key Account Manager – Internal Medicine, Antiviral

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Guides the strategic vision, formulation, and implementation of account strategies and partnerships with designated Leading Health Systems (key accounts) and the corresponding Integrated Account Teams (IATs).

• Cultivates and oversees executive-level (C, D-Suite, and key decision makers) customer relationships, ensuring alignment with the relevant internal and external stakeholders/decision makers based on account strategies and objectives.

• Recognizes essential customers, including the internal/external decision-making and influencing networks that affect the key account and local health ecosystem.

• Oversees a select group of prioritized accounts to meet established business goals.

• Directs the formation of high-performing Integrated Account Teams (IATs) by collaborating with cross-functional specialists and other Pfizer stakeholders to ensure that roles, responsibilities, and resources are appropriately aligned and utilized compliantly.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• An MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline is preferred.

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical/marketing/sales is preferred, including a minimum of three years in a promoted position and/or developmental role demonstrating leadership among peers and management.

• Experience in management and/or account management is highly desirable.
