This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Develop and oversee long-term, compliant partnerships with key accounts in the infectious diseases sector throughout Switzerland.
• Foster sustainable access and growth by utilizing structured account planning, engaging stakeholders, and executing data-driven strategies.
• Establish and nurture long-term, compliant relationships with key accounts and stakeholders within the infectious diseases and hospital landscape.
• Identify new stakeholders and cultivate collaborations with both public and private key accounts.
• Coordinate hospital listing and access initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
• Formulate and execute structured account plans, which include launch readiness for new anti-infective products.
• Lead pre-launch and launch initiatives at the account level (stakeholder mapping, prioritization, and pathway readiness).
• Carry out compliant promotional and scientific activities, including participation in events and congresses.
• Assess market dynamics, competition, and customer needs to guide account strategies.
• Leverage CRM and field data to plan, monitor, and enhance customer interactions.
• Collaborate with Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) to track sales and performance outcomes.
• A university degree in natural sciences or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in launching and introducing pharmaceutical products within the hospital environment.
• Strong background as a Key Account Manager in hospital contexts (pharmaceutical, biotech, or hospital products).
• Familiarity with hospital listing processes is essential.
• Experience in hospital price negotiations and a solid understanding of hospital pharmacy structures is highly regarded.
• Experience in anti-infectives or antifungals, ICU environments, or launches of rare diseases is advantageous.
• Knowledge of needs-based or value-based selling techniques is a plus.
• Proficient account planning skills, including prioritization, segmentation, and long-term strategy development.
• Confident in using CRM systems (Veeva CRM or similar tools).
• Proven capability to work with sales, market, and customer data, ensuring accuracy and leveraging insights to effectively plan and monitor field activities.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with the capacity to engage HCPs and KOLs at a high scientific level.
• Autonomous, structured, and decisive approach to work.
• Strong collaborative spirit and teamwork orientation in cross-functional settings.
• Fluent in German and capable of working effectively in English.
• Field-based role with a minimum of 95% activity in the field.
