This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Strategic development of markets and key accounts within the Secondary Care segment to achieve sales targets for the ARDx product portfolio sustainably.
• Management, implementation, and ongoing control of sales strategies driven by relevant KPIs, customer needs, and established product and market concepts.
• Independent negotiation and contract structuring with C-level decision-makers in hospital chains, as well as purchasing and procurement organizations.
• Identification, analysis, and customized presentation of customer challenges and business opportunities, aimed at establishing and maintaining long-term strategic partnerships of national importance.
• Ensuring superior customer service while actively supporting change and implementation initiatives in close collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Conceptual and strategic execution of product launches, along with co-development and implementation of targeted marketing and sales initiatives for ARDx products.
• Professional representation of Abbott and the product portfolio at sales and marketing meetings, specialist events, conferences, and congresses.
• Degree in a natural science or equivalent; alternatively, a medical qualification or comparable professional experience in diagnostics or medical technology.
• Relevant professional experience in sales within medical technology, diagnostics, or a similar regulated field — ideally with a strategic customer focus.
• Strong understanding of the Secondary Care market, including pertinent market structures, decision-making processes, and key customers and purchasing organizations.
• Proven track record in developing and nurturing long-term customer relationships at management and decision-maker levels.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in navigating complex national negotiation and decision-making processes.
• Structured, self-motivated, and resilient working style, even in dynamic market conditions.
• High problem-solving capability, customer-centric approach, and the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and persuasively.
• Strong team and stakeholder orientation, coupled with a high degree of initiative, energy, and drive to influence outcomes.
• Exceptional organizational, facilitation, and presentation skills, including in national committees or cross-functional projects.
• Proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint for analyzing, preparing, and presenting sales and strategic content.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 70–80%) within the sales territory.
• Fluent in German and possessing very good English skills, both written and spoken.
